The Journal of Voluntary Sector Research (online ISSN 1756-3496) is a new publication, commencing in 2008, aimed at practitioners and academics with an interest in voluntary sector research.

We aim to publish the best research carried out by or for the voluntary sector in a way that is accessible and credible.

The Journal will help meet the need for research evidence to inform and underpin good practice and performance improvement. The Journal will disseminate key research findings as widely as possible to those seeking to learn from or to better understand the sector.

The Journal aims at high standards both of accessibility and excellence underpinned by an established Editorial Board of relevant practitioners and scholars

All submissions are initially assessed by the editor and if suitable forwarded to two members of the Editorial Board for anonymous peer review. We welcome submission of suitable articles for consideration. Please contact us for enquiries.

The first issues of the Journal will be available to download from these pages during 2008.
